Notice of Public Hearing

On Petition for Inclusion of Land

The Bastrop County Emergency Services District No. 2 ("District") Board of Commissioners has received a Petition for Inclusion of Land in the District from individuals within portions of Bastrop County not within the District. The Petition on requests the District to annex certain areas within Bastrop County. These areas are comprised of a 348.1 acre portion of the Stephen F. Austin Survey, Abstract No. 2, being a part of that 546.364 acre tract of land conveyed to records of Bastrop County, Texas (O.P.R.B.C.TX.) and a portion of the Colorado River; also identified as the northern portion of Property ID No. 41930, Bastrop Central Appraisal District records.

A public hearing on the petition will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the ESD2 Station 4, 1432 N. State Highway 95, Bastrop, Texas. All interested individuals are invited to attend the public hearing and provide comments or express support for or against the proposed annexation.
